Teaching Doctrine In The World We Live In Today

Yesterday, I listened to a sermon while on a long run. This is something I can rarely accomplish and, by itself, says a lot about the sermon. In "Teaching Doctrine In The World We Live In Today", Fr. Thomas Hopko opens by revealing that, if he could do it all over again, he would do things a lot differently. When someone of his stature and experience (40 years as a priest and 34years teaching theology) says this, it's certainly worth listening to. With his characteristic realism, bluntness and humor, Father Tom teaches us at least as much about life in this talk as he does about Christian Theology.

This is a must-listen for any minister, parent or youth worker. You can find the link to all three parts of the talk here.
